Finished Object!

It seems like lately I've been working on so many different projects that I haven't completed any, but yeah!!! Finally I have a FO. Over the weekend I took a felting class at Commuknity taught by Chloe. It was great, I learned a couple of new techniques, picking up stitches and grafting. I also learned that I was purling wrong......that really explains a lot! I've been have lots of trouble with my tension whenever I purl. The stitches have always been so tight I could hardly get my needle back into them. I'm hoping this will make working on steel much faster.

As for the bag. It's a mini booga bag. We only cast on 15 for the bottom and then picked-up 60 stitches around the side. I love this bag, and it cost under $10 dollars to make. I used one skein of Cascade 220 in color 8888, part of a ball of Crystal Palace Kid Merino in color 9812 and a small amount of Crystal Palace Fizz I had left over from a scarf. I think it would be great to give as a gift filled with lotions and soap. I posted the before and after felting pictures so that E could see what felting is.
